A new role has opened for a VP of QARA to lead a surgical robotic regulatory and quality function. This opportunity has all of the characteristics of being a green field project with the support of a highly engaged and vastly experienced leadership team. On day 1 you will come in to align your team, set the team up in your own way and start the path towards regulatory clearance. The product is a high technology surgical robot first focusing on the European markets, followed by global markets. Along with the robot, you will also hold responsibility for the software, data, visualization and instrumentation portfolio.

This role is one that will grow, the current team you will lead have a deep experience and skill set but need the leader who will engage, align and drive speed & compliance. This role is one of the most exciting in surgical robotics, if not MedTech.

The Experience

We are looking for someone who has hands on technical experience gaining regulatory approval who has great relationships with major regulatory bodies. The ideal profile will have experience launching highly technical products into the global markets. You will have run similar types of projects before with high end capital equipment, and if you have a combination of digital products you will have some very worthwhile experience.

The Person

We are looking for a player-coach who is hands on, transparent and a communicator, who is both technically skilled, but also possesses leadership qualities. We are looking for someone who can think outside of the box, who is solution driven and has the ability to get creative and deliver results in a non-standard way.

The role can be remote in Europe with 50-60% travel and willingness to travel internationally. English speaking is essential. The package will be strong enough to secure the right individual.
